Day 43 --- Exodus 14-15 - Matthew 26:36-75
Pharoah's hard had hardened and he wanted the Israelites back to work for him. He gathered all of his chariots and army and fled to where they were. When the Israelites saw the Egyptians coming they feared. Moses told them not to fear and God will protect them. Moses raised his staff and cleared the Red Sea, the Israelites walked through the water as the water was spread into walls. When the Egyptians followed them, Moses closed the waters and not one of the men survived. The Israelites feared God, but trusted him. That is a very valuable lesson.

In Matthew Judah came walking with soldiers and had Jesus arrested, just as he predicated. Peter denied Jesus three times when asked if he knew Jesus. Just then a rooster crowed and Peter remembered what Jesus told him. Peter wepted bitterly.
