Day 42 --- Exodus 12-13 - Matthew 26:1-35

In Exodus Moses told the Egyptians the instructions on the passover and about the dying of the first born who did not do this. Every first born was killed in Egypt, including Pharaoh's. Pharaoh told them to up and leave and do as they wish to worship the lord and pray for him. The Lord brought the Israelites out of Egypt. Jesus knew what Judas had down and told him that someone would betray him. Judah said, not I lord and Jesus knew and said yes it is you. Jesus gave the disciples bread and broke it and said this is my body. Then they drank and Jesus said this is my blood the covenant. Jesus then predicts that Peter will deny him 3 times. Peter said that is not possible.

I think it is important to remember why I do communion at church. It is not just something to do, it all has meaning and to remember the sacrifice Jesus gave and to remember his blood the covenant.
