Day 37 --- Genesis 49-50 - Matthew 23:23-39

Jacob (Israel) wish was granted and he was buried in the land of Canaan along with Abraham and Sarah and Leah. When he died Joseph's brothers were worried that Joseph would pay them back for all the wrong they had done so they told him that their father told Joseph to forgive the brothers for all the wrong. Joseph did so and provided a good life for his brothers and children. Joseph died and was buried in a coffin in Egypt. This was the book of Genesis.

Jesus spoke these words and I thought these were so powerful. You clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are full of greed and self-indulgence. 26Blind Pharisee! First clean the inside of the cup and dish, and then the outside also will be clean.

Before our outside is clean, we need to get rid of greed and self-indulgence and purify ourselves.
