Day 47 --- Exodus 23-24 - Matthew 28
God confirmed the covenant and set laws of justice and mercy and sabbath laws. In Matthew an angel appeared to the tomb and it frightened the guards so much that they fell down. The Angel told Mary that Jesus has risen and go tell the disciples. The disciples saw Jesus. When the Guards ran and told the chief priests what had happened, they paid the guards to tell everyone that the disciples stole Jesus's body.
This was the end of the book of Matthew.
